Amanda was born in Natchitoches, Louisiana, in 1986, and is from Coushatta, Louisiana. She graduated from Riverdale Academy as valedictorian in 2005, and was awarded Presidential Honors and Academic Excellence scholarships from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, where she graduated with honors in 2009, with a B.A. in Criminal Justice. She thereafter received a faculty scholarship from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law, now Texas A&M University School of Law, in Fort Worth, Texas, where she earned her Doctorate of Jurisprudence. During law school, Amanda served as an intern to the Harrison County District Attorney's Office and was a member of the International Law Society. Amanda joined the firm and was admitted to the Louisiana State Bar in 2014. She is a member of the state and local bar associations, the Harry V. Booth-Judge Henry A. Politz American Inn of Court and the Supreme Court of Louisiana Historical Society.
